Le truc le plus rigolo à faire, au mois d’ao?t, c’est se donner rendez-vous dans un resto précis, et arriver devant la porte … fermée …
Nous avions donc décidé, avec les copines, d’aller déjeuner au Mezzo Giorno rue Vasselot à Rennes. Je vous dis ça, ça se passait hier … jour de temps breton à Rennes, pluie intermittente. Je fais le ramassage (il para?t que je les impressionne avec mes créneaux ….), et hop direction centre-ville. Forcément, vu le monde en ville, on se gare pas loin (impensable le reste du temps), et nous trouvons porte close. Comme il commence à faire *vraiment* humide, nous nous rabattons sur la porte ouverte la plus proche. Nous voilà à La table Vasselot. Le principe me pla?t d’emblée : pas de carte, le choix du jour se trouve sur l’ardoise, 2 entrées, 2 plats, 2 desserts. La formule entrée-plat ou plat-dessert est à 11? ce qui est fort raisonnable je trouve (et d’autant plus après, rapport qualité-prix intéressant). Nous optons pour plat-dessert, parmentier de confit de canard et crumble aux pommes.
Au final, cadre agréable, service un poil lent à mon go?t (mais bon, ils n’étaient peut-?tre pas au complet non plus), cuisine raffinée, jolie présentation, quantité adaptée (à mon appétit au moins), bref, je garde l’adresse !
